<%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" CODEPAGE="1252"%> The Community Foundation - Giving

Are you interested in funding certain types of programs but don’t know to whom to give? In an effort to facilitate philanthropy, The Community Foundation developed this page to present to the public legitimate programs of local nonprofits within our 8 county service area that submitted applications for a grant. The agencies listed below could not be funded by The Foundation because the nonprofit’s request did not follow our specific grant initiatives or we did not have enough funding available.

It is our hope that our website visitors will take this opportunity to help those providing invaluable services to our communities. You may call The Foundation office at 251-438-5591 to learn more about the nonprofit you are interested in supporting. You should consider establishing a restricted fund to support your favorite agency or establish a field of interest fund to support several agencies with similar programs. Thank you for supporting the future of Alabama!

Applications for the nonprofits’ grant requests will be kept in our office and will stay on this list until May 2007.
