The Gulf Coast Fund of the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors presented an award of appreciation to The Community Foundation of South Alabama for “unwavering commitment to the just and equitable recovery of the Gulf Coast region.”

The Gulf Coast Fund for Community Renewal and Ecological Health is a collaborative grant making fund supporting community, state and regional efforts that engage, empower and benefit displaced and returning residents, and that promote the sustainable and just rebuilding of neighborhoods, cities and ecosystems throughout the Gulf Coast.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors provide research and counsel on charitable giving, develop philanthropy programs, and offer complete program, administrative and management services for foundations and trusts.

As a result of the collaboration with the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, The Community Foundation began offering capacity building workshops for nonprofit organizations and established the Community Social Impact Fund.
